With a long history of starting up entrepreneurial companies, which have grown from a handful of employees to hundreds and even thousands of employees, Doug understands the importance of real estate and how it impacts business; from the planning, budgeting, finance and branding side of the equations.

Over his career he has worked with hundreds of companies to help them identify leasing solutions in support of their initiatives and brings the perspective that all business managers and owners value which is fully understanding the challenges and opportunities they are facing in making leasing decisions which will have a tremendous impact on their business.

Over the last decade since forming Rice & Associates, Doug has expanded the boutique firm from a Tenant Representation firm into a Full Service brokerage firm by building the firms Agency leasing work across ownership's through out the Midtown South, Chelsea, and Flatiron submarkets of Manhattan.

R&A is recognized as a hands-on partner to many ownership groups who the firm works closely with to achieve maximum rental values and help owners achieve credit worthy and stable, tenant rosters.

Doug has developed the R&A team by hand picking talented brokers and developing them into industry or geographic specialists. By promoting a policy of excellence in their markets the entire R&A team is consistently recognized as leading brokers in their area of expertise.
